DevOps Lead

As an experienced candidate with 8 to 12 years of overall IT/Infra/DevOps experience and at least 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS infrastructure including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, Security Groups, and IAM. - Ensuring compliance with RBI, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001 guidelines. - Managing networking, monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity. - Implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab. - Working with Infra as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. - Overseeing container orchestration using EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes. - Managing cloud security posture with tools like GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub, and Inspector. - Conducting regular audits, patching, and monitoring activities. - Handling identity and access governance in AWS, including IAM roles and least privilege principles. - Monitoring AWS billing, optimizing resource usage, and reporting monthly infrastructure costs to management. - Leading critical incident response during infra outages or security events. - Upholding 24x7 uptime responsibilities with participation in on-call rotation schedules. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8 to 12 years of experience in infra/DevOps/cloud roles. - Expertise in AWS core services, networking, and security. - Strong proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Hands-on experience with MySQL RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, and Lambda. - Familiarity with Terraform/CloudFormation and Ansible for infrastructure management. - Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK. - Experience in leadership roles managing infra/DevOps teams. - Familiarity with financial services compliance standards like RBI/PCI-DSS is considered a significant advantage.
