DevOps Lead

Job Description

DevOps Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement DevOps best practices, processes, and tools to improve software development and deployment efficiency. Cloud Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP , optimizing cost, performance, and security. CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD . Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi . Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containers using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), Helm charts, and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) . Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, IAM policies, vulnerability assessments, and compliance standards ( SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA ). Monitoring & Logging: Set up observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch to monitor system performance and reliability. Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for system administration and cloud automation. Collaboration & Mentoring: Work closely with development, QA, and security teams, and mentor junior DevOps engineers. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure Automation. Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP services (EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS, EKS, GKE, etc.). Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for infrastructure automation. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd). Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience in cloud security, IAM, RBAC, network security, and compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
