What You’ll Do:

• Kubernetes: Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy, scale, and manage applications within Kubernetes clusters. Use Helm proficiently for packaging, deploying, and managing applications, contributing to the development and implementation of Kubernetes configurations for various microservices.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Assist in designing, building, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. Continuously refine IaC practices for scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Automation with Ansible: Contribute to automating configuration management and application deployment using Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Ansible playbooks for streamlined operations.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and enhance the CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins, troubleshooting, and optimizing for faster, reliable software releases.
• Linux Administration: Demonstrate proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including system administration and adherence to security best practices.
• Web Server Management: Configure and maintain web servers such as Nginx and Apache Tomcat. Optimize web server configurations for enhanced performance and security.
• AWS Cloud Expertise: AWS services for infrastructure provisioning and management. Implement best practices for deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.
• DevSecOps: Collaborate with DevOps, Application Security and Development teams to implement best practices in Cloud and Application Security.
• Scripting Proficiency: Strong scripting skills in either Python or Bash for automation and tooling purposes.
• Problem-solving and Troubleshooting: Investigate and promptly resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring system reliability. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to detect potential issues before impacting operations.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest and eagerness to learn DevOps practices and technologies.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Linux administration, Nginx, and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.
• Previous coursework, certifications, or personal projects showcasing DevOps skills is a bonus.
