Devops Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on

experience in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will be responsible for

designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure while ensuring high

availability, performance, and security. This role requires strong expertise in AWS,

CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using

Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (CFT).

• Provision and manage core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route 53,

IAM, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, AWS Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store

etc.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins to streamline

deployment and testing.

• Containerize and manage applications using Docker, and support deployment

workflows.

• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell to manage infrastructure

and operational tasks.

• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and

Grafana for observability and performance metrics.

• Apply DevSecOps principles to infrastructure and CI/CD workflows, ensuring

secure-by-default implementations.

• Document systems, configurations, and processes for cross-functional visibility

and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployment,

performance optimization, and incident response.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or

equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles

focused on AWS.

• Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS,

Redshift, etc.

• Solid experience with CI/CD tools: Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment.
• Proficient in scripting using Python and Shell.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring and alerting.
• Understanding of core cloud security best practices and DevSecOps

integration.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and

microservices.

• Exposure to GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of AWS security services like GuardDuty, Inspector, or Security

Hub.

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)

are highly desirable.
