Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Manage and optimize build and deployment processes with Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
Implement centralized logging and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Administer and tune web/application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, and NGINX.
Configure and manage load balancers and message queues (e.g., MQ).
Maintain and manage artifact repositories like Nexus.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and secure deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot issues across application stacks and perform root cause analysis.
Apply DevOps best practices and tools to streamline operational workflows and improve system reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure.
Solid understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, Kibana (ELK).
Knowledge of web/application servers: Apache, Tomcat, NGINX.
Experience managing artifact repositories like Nexus.
Familiarity with messaging systems like MQ (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
Good scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy) for automation tasks.
Understanding of load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Experience working in agile development environments.

Nice to Have:

Certifications in AWS/Azure/DevOps.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps workflows.
