AWS DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS.
Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Perform system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
Ensure security best practices and compliance across all cloud environments.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as needed.

Required Skills

2 to 7 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
Strong hands-on experience with
AWS
core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild/Deploy).
Proficient in
Terraform
or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
Experience with
Docker
and container orchestration using
Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
or ECS.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
Good understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway).
Exposure to security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2
