DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps professional at Copado, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth deployment processes and enhancing the efficiency of release management. Your responsibilities will include: - Resolving validation/deployment errors during promotions in Copado - Demonstrating expert knowledge in Copado CLI and cherry-picking strategies, particularly for LWC and Apex classes - Managing both First-Generation and Second-Generation managed packages - Automating deployment processes to streamline release management lifecycle - Collaborating with developers to resolve conflicts and promote changes daily - Overseeing release management in the Salesforce platform to ensure proper utilization of Copado - Setting up CI/CD pipelines and environments using Copado and related tools - Maintaining a clean and organized repository structure with branches for development, testing, and production - Supporting post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes - Collaborating with team members to ensure safe and secure development, testing, and deployment environments - Serving as a single point of contact to plan, coordinate, and oversee releases, patches, and emergency changes Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Admin or Developer, with at least 4+ years focused on Salesforce deployments and DevOps/release management - Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration concepts in an enterprise IT software development environment - Expertise in branching strategies, version control, pipeline automation, and orchestration using Copado and related tools like Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Ant, etc. - Experience in implementing complex Salesforce DevOps pipelines for Salesforce releases with Copado - Proficiency in code deployment version conflict resolution - Knowledge of Salesforce configuration such as managing users, profiles, and permission sets - Salesforce and Copado certifications are desirable This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a crucial role in the successful deployment of Salesforce applications.,
