Devops Engineer

Role Overview:

Highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer . As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, automating, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications and systems. Your expertise in automation, containerization, and cloud technologies will be essential in driving our DevOps initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions. Jenkins.
• Administer and optimize our source code management system (GitHub), including branching strategies, access controls, and code review workflows.
• Manage and maintain our artifact repository to ensure the availability and integrity of build artifacts and dependencies.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive observability and monitoring solutions using relevant tools to provide insights into system performance, availability, and security.
• Lead the adoption and standardization of containerization technologies across our development and deployment processes.
• Manage the Cloud Infrastructure ( Planning, Deployment, Administration).
• Manage multi cloud architecture, integrations & accessibility.
• Manage and scale container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Configure and manage self-hosted runners for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure automation in with DevSecOps processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation within the AWS ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps process issues across the development and production environments
• Document processes, configurations, and deployment procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.
• Explore trending technologies related to DevOps, MLOps and DevSecOps

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (preferably with GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in using and administering GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
• Experience managing cross tools integration & dependencies
• Solid understanding of Networking, observability, monitoring & configuration management concepts and relevant tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Puppet, Ansible).
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms ( Kubernetes -Onprem /Cloud).
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD runners.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in the context of DevOps & DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure architecture, deployment and administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or powershell.
• Experience with infrastructure automation with Terraform or other tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with different Software development methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in (CS, IT, C Tech), Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4-5 Years of Hands on Experience (DevOps)
• Certifications - AWS Solution Architect and Azure Solution Architect/ CGP Cloud Architect/
