Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable deployments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Manage and support deployments on GCP (preferred), with working knowledge of AWS and Azure.

• Maintain and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (e.g., GKE, EKS, or AKS).

• Implement observability stacks with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.

• Collaborate with developers to integrate and release code efficiently and securely.

• Apply best practices in DevOps security, including IAM, secrets management, and compliance checks.

Support and troubleshoot day-to-day networking components such as:

• Configuring load balancers

• Managing DNS entries and internal/external IPs

• Working with VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and NAT settings

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or similar roles.
• Solid background in software development (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), with working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with basic cloud networking (VPCs, DNS, IP management, load balancers).
• Strong Linux skills and comfort working in terminal-based environments.

• Your understanding of

  cloud networking

  (VPCs, DNS, IPs, load balancers) and how it impacted your design
• Troubleshooting mindset:

  Linux/terminal workflows
