Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize GitHub/GitLab CI pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Build and maintain PR automation workflows, including GitHub Actions, merge bots, automated PR checks, and code-quality gates.
• Integrate CI workflows with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) via REST APIs for automated issue creation, status updates, and activity tracking.
• Manage containerization and packaging of applications and AI/ML models using Docker.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor services in Kubernetes environments (AKS, EKS, GKE, or self-hosted).
• Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) patterns to improve developer efficiency and platform reliability.
• Partner with engineering and ML teams to support model-serving pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Ensure that CI/CD processes follow best practices for security, observability, and compliance.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures for CI/CD and deployment systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• 45+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or platform automation.
• Proven experience authoring and maintaining complex GitHub/GitLab CI pipelines.
• Hands-on experience working with GitHub Actions, PR automation, merge bots, and automated approval workflows.
• Experience integrating engineering workflows with Jira or similar ticketing systems using APIs.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Background supporting ML/AI model deployment environments is a plus.
