About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and GCP to help design, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensure high availability, and maintain secure, scalable environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.).

Design, deploy, and manage AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure for scalable applications.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.

Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes – EKS, GKE).

Implement monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Ensure cloud security best practices (IAM, VPC design, secrets management, encryption, firewalls).

Collaborate with developers for smooth deployments and release management.

Automate operational tasks for efficiency (Python, Bash, or Go scripting).

Troubleshoot and optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in AWS & GCP.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC).

Experience with GCP services & Firebase (Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions).

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Cope Pipeline).

Strong knowledge of containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE).

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, VPN, peering).

Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).

Nice to Have

Experience with multi-cloud strategy (hybrid AWS + GCP).

Knowledge of BigQuery and AWS Redshift / Athena for analytics integration.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (security scanning, compliance automation).

Exposure to FinOps practices for cloud cost optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

2–4+ years of experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer / SRE.

Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect / GCP Professional Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
