We need someone who can architect infrastructure that scales from 10,000 to 100,000 users without breaking a sweat. This is a solo DevOps role where you'll own our entire AWS infrastructure stack no team to hide behind, no one else to blame when things break. Just you, your expertise, and the systems you build.

We're a profitable, AI-first SaaS startup building social media automation tools for creators. Our platform already powers millions of published videos, and we're scaling fast. We need infrastructure that can keep up.

About Us

Our engineering team uses AI as a core development partner — Claude Code, custom RAG systems, and context engineering methods that help us achieve great results the first time. Not as a novelty, but as fundamental tools that accelerate everything we build. We're looking for a DevOps engineer who gets excited about this future, not threatened by it.

The Role

You'll be the sole owner of our AWS infrastructure. Not "help manage" or "contribute to" — you'll own it. Every pipeline, every deployment, every scaling decision goes through you.

This solo DevOps model has worked exceptionally well for us — we've had DevOps engineers thrive in this high-ownership environment before. We know what it takes to succeed here, and we're comfortable with this dynamic. It's not for everyone, but for the right person, it's incredibly empowering.

You'll architect systems that need to handle 10x growth in the next year while keeping costs lean and performance exceptional. This isn't about managing what exists — it's about building what we need to reach 100,000 users without hiring an army of engineers.

What You'll Actually Do

• Own the entire infrastructure lifecycle — from architecture decisions to production deployments
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CDK and Terraform that other engineers can understand and contribute to
• Design for 10x scale while keeping our current costs efficient for 10,000 users
• Create CI/CD pipelines that make deployments boring (in the best way)
• Implement monitoring and observability so we know about problems before customers do
• Collaborate with engineers who are shipping AI-powered features at unprecedented speed
• Document everything because bus factor of one is real when you own it all
• Make infrastructure decisions that will impact the company for years

What You Bring

• 5-10 years of DevOps experience with at least 5 years deep in AWS
• Deep expertise in core AWS services — EC2, RDS, Fargate, Lambda and their connected services, with ability to quickly master new AWS services as needed
• Proven track record of scaling SaaS platforms from thousands to hundreds of thousands of users
• Product company experience — you've built infrastructure for public-facing products with real users, unpredictable traffic, and all the chaos that comes with consumer applications. Not internal corporate tools or enterprise environments
• Infrastructure-as-Code expertise — you think in CDK/Terraform, not console clicks
• Container orchestration mastery — Docker, ECS, Fargate are your comfort zone
• Security-first mindset — you implement least-privilege and zero-trust by default
• Scripting fluency in Python, Bash, or TypeScript for automation
• Communication skills to explain complex infrastructure to non-infrastructure people
• Currently based in Bangalore with ability to work from our Koramangala office — we're looking for someone who can start soon, not interstate transfers

This is a full-time, in-person role in Koramangala, Bangalore. We need someone who's already in Bangalore and ready to start soon.
