Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep Golang expertise to help us architect and scale the next generation of our backend systems. If you love solving hard problems, owning your work end-to-end, and mentoring others while staying hands-on, wed love to meet you.

We are looking for high performers who want to work for a western product company from our office in Koramangala full time. Bangalore based candidates will only be considered due to our in person interview process and need to find the right people in the next month.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Golang.
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, architects, designers, and product managers to build high-impact features.
  
• Analyze and optimize distributed systems for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  
• Lead by example on engineering best practices: automated testing, clean code, peer reviews, and clear documentation.
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term tech strategy.
  
• Champion a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of provable professional Golang backend development experience. This is just your Goland experience, not total engineering experience but atleast 5 years working with Golang on large complex systems.
  
• Proven success delivering production-grade, highly available backend systems used by thousands (or millions).
  
• Expert hands-on experience with Golang for microservices and API development.
  
• Solid working knowledge of cloud infrastructure on AWS using exclusively 'infrastructure as code' practises and the CDK or Terraform methods.
  
• Comfortable with RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Bonus: familiarity with TypeScript, Python, PHP or other modern languages.
  
• Strong communication skills — you explain complex ideas clearly and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.
  
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
