DevOps Engineer

Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Must have skills : Salesforce DevOps, Salesforce Administration, DevOps Architecture, Docker Kubernetes Architecture and Design Good to have skills : NAMinimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME- Collaborate and manage the team to perform- Responsible for team decisions- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines- Ensure security measures are in place for systems- Optimize infrastructure for performance Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce DevOps, Salesforce Administration, Jenkins, Docker Kubernetes Architecture, Copado and Design, DevOps Architecture- Strong understanding of cloud technologies- Experience with container orchestration tools- Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines- Familiarity with infrastructure as code- Copado Implementation Management:- Implement and manage Copado DevOps solutions for Salesforce, including release management, version control, and automated deployments.- Create and maintain deployment pipelines and release plans using Copado.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Copado and Salesforce deployments.- CI/CD Pipeline Development:- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate and streamline the Salesforce development and release process.- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and reliability.- Collaboration Communication:- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.- Facilitate communication between development teams and operations to ensure alignment and smooth deployments.- Monitoring Performance Optimization:- Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of Salesforce applications and deployments.- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.- Documentation Training:- Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices.- Provide training and support to team members on Copado and Salesforce DevOps practices.-Proficiency with version control systems, such as Bitbucket.-Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.-Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker) is a plus.-Experience with Jira and Jenkins.-Certifications:-Relevant Copado certifications, such as Copado fundamental-I, Copado fundamental-II, Salesforce Certified Deployment Specialist and Salesforce Certified Admin, are highly desirable and demonstrate a strong foundation in Salesforce technologies and best practices. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps- This position is based at our Bengaluru office- A 15 years full time education is required Qualification 15 years full time education
