Role Overview: River is an electric vehicle company that specializes in building multi-utility scooters. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Development Engineering team, taking on significant responsibilities as an individual contributor. - Collaborate with one or more EMS partners to develop manufacturing processes for new products that meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) requirements. - Engage in DFx activities with the R&D team and suppliers. - Standardize and enhance existing manufacturing processes to optimize costs and improve quality. - Identify and assess potential suppliers to ensure they meet River's quality standards. - Utilize special processes like conformal coating, potting, and FIP processes. - Review design data packages such as Gerber, BOM, and drawings, working with the R&D team to address any gaps or corrections. - Support suppliers in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting process issues. - Complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and address Non-Conformities (NCs). - Prepare documentation including Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Audit Inspection Checklists (AICTQ), and Supplier Operating Requirements (SORs). - Serve as a liaison between the internal R&D team and external suppliers to resolve queries and implement necessary corrections. Qualification Required: - BE with 6-8 years of experience in a similar domain. - Proficiency in electronic manufacturing processes such as SMT, Wave soldering, conformal coating, Potting, FIP, and Box build assembly. - Hands-on experience in gerber review and familiarity with tools like GC preview, Altium, and other similar software. - Strong knowledge of Design for Excellence (DFx) processes, particularly DFM, DFA, and DFT. - Familiarity with PPAP processes and documentation. - Experience in turnkey prototype manufacturing is advantageous. - Expertise in supplier selection, assessment, and management. - Extensive experience in RCA and troubleshooting process-related issues. - Understanding of Hardware product development processes, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). - Knowledge of 8D/CAPA processes and Change Management processes. - Experience in PCBA level RCA, schematic reading, and troubleshooting is a plus. - Proficient in preparation of reports and presentation skills. - Familiarity with ICT, FCT, and EOL testing processes.,
