Demonstrated experience and proficiency in utilising PowerBuilder for application development and maintenance. Mandatory knowledge and understanding of PowerBuilder Foundation Classes to optimize and streamline application development. Proficient in developing Dynamic Data Windows and Multiple Document Interface to create flexible and user-friendly applications. Ability to modernize applications using Power Server, Snap, and adopting modern, theme-based UI designs to enhance user experience and functionality. Extensive experience in programming with DB including database design, SQL querying, and optimisation for efficient application performance. Proven work exposure and adaptation to Agile methodologies for iterative development, collaboration, and responsiveness to change in project requirements. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within teams, stakeholders, and clients. Previous experience in leading or managing teams is highly desirable. Experience in application migration is an added advantage, facilitating the seamless transition of applications to newer platforms or versions.
