Job Description

As a Developer: Applications at Flex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of IT systems by collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategies for implementation. Your responsibilities will include developing software, testing solutions, and resolving technical business issues to automate specific business processes. You will work closely with various teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and function properly. Your role will involve partnering with business stakeholders to select appropriate technology vendors and applications, as well as troubleshooting and researching codes to identify and rectify errors. Additionally, you will collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance and work on software-machine interfaces. Moreover, as a Developer: Applications, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing systems, researching new technologies to incorporate into system solutions, and writing technical documentation to describe program development. You will also be involved in running tests for automated execution, conducting user acceptance tests, and providing technical assistance to end users or technical support staff. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent systems experience, along with at least 3 years of systems experience. Knowledge of application development, procedures, utilities, and job control languages is preferred. You should demonstrate operational and technical skills, as well as an understanding of Flex's functional standards and policies. Furthermore, you should have experience working with tools such as TFS, Git, and possess knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles. Your ability to break down complex development activities into manageable tasks and understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) will be essential in this role.
