Job Description

Introduction & Summary:

The CLAIRE project encompasses significant endeavors in claims management. The primary focus is on automating claims processing to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times. As a Developer specializing in COBOL and JCL, you will play a crucial role in delivering these solutions, working in an environment that requires strong collaboration. English proficiency is essential due to coordination with teams in India and Germany.

Main Responsibilities:

  • COBOL and JCL programming to support process automation.
  • Documentation of system processes and programming efforts.
  • Execution of system tests (DV tests) to ensure functionality.
  • Regular updates on project roadmaps and task management in the backlog.
  • Collaborating with project teams to optimize automation workflows.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient in mainframe development, with 80% focus on COBOL.
  • Client development experience with C++ and C# (20%).
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Experience in system testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with web services (Java, .NET).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
