Community Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for developer inquiries answering questions on forums, GitHub, and community channels.

Build trust and rapport with developers by helping them troubleshoot issues and share solutions.

Collect feedback from the community and relay insights to Product and Engineering teams to improve the developer experience.

Education & Enablement

Create and publish technical tutorials , blog posts , and how-to guides that showcase platform features and best practices.

Develop and maintain reference applications , sample datasets , and code repositories that illustrate common use cases.

Collaborate with the documentation team to improve clarity, accessibility, and usability of developer docs.

Advocacy & Evangelism

Represent the company at developer meetups, webinars, and industry conferences (as speaker or panelist).

Host and organize developer-focused webinars , live coding sessions, and workshops to onboard new users and highlight advanced capabilities.

Build authentic relationships with open-source and developer communities.

Amplify developer success stories through blogs, social posts, and demos.

Internal Collaboration

Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure SDKs, APIs, and developer tools are intuitive and well-documented.

Provide developer feedback on new releases and advocate for improvements that enhance usability and adoption.

Work with Marketing to create compelling technical content and drive community engagement initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications

Required

3 + years in software development, developer advocacy, or related technical communication roles

Strong coding experience in one or more modern languages (Python, JavaScript or similar).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply and clearly.

Experience creating developer-focused content: blogs, videos, tutorials, or sample applications.

Demonstrated passion for developer communities and helping others learn.

Preferred

Experience with data engineering, graph databases, or AI / ML frameworks is a strong plus.

Prior experience working with open-source or developer ecosystems (GitHub, Stack Overflow, Dev.to, etc.).

Comfortable with public speaking, webinars, and conference presentations.

Experience in building small POCs or sample integrations showcasing API or SDK usage.

Success Metrics

Growth and engagement of developer community (forum participation, GitHub stars/forks, webinar attendance).

Number and quality of developer tutorials, blogs, and reference apps published.

Developer satisfaction scores (via surveys or feedback loops).

Reduction in developer support requests or improved self-service rates.
