Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Desktop Support Specialist provides technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient operation of computer systems and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.

- Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems.

- Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.

- Assist with network connectivity issues and printer setups.

- Collaborate with IT team to implement new technologies and upgrades.

- Provide training and support to users on software applications and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field; Bachelor's preferred.

- Proven experience in desktop support or technical support roles.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

- CompTIA A+ or similar certification.

- Experience with remote support tools.

- Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Working Conditions:

- Office environment with occasional remote support.

- May require lifting of equipment and working outside regular hours for urgent issues.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
