Desktop Support Engineer

Key responsibilities include:1 Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware 2 Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and resolving problems 3 Responding to user inquiries and providing technical support via phone, email, or in-person 4 Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and software 5 Managing and monitoring the performance of desktop systems and ensuring their optimal functioning 6 Performing hardware and software upgrades, as well as security patches 7 Documenting hardware and software configurations, maintenance procedures, and user guides 8 Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and support projects 9 Maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets 10 Staying up-to-date with the latest technology developments and industry standards Qualifications:1 Strong technical skills and experience with desktop hardware, software, and operating systems 2 Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities 3 Excellent written and verbal communication skills 4 Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure 5 Good organizational skills and attention to detail 6 Knowledge of industry standards and best practices 7 Prior experience in a desktop support role is desirable
