Job Summary:

The Desktop Engineer will provide technical support across the organization, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems. The role includes troubleshooting, system configuration, equipment maintenance, and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network equipment
• Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, printers, scanners, phones, etc.
• Diagnose system failures and identify root causes
• Manage IT inventory and place orders for equipment
• Escalate unresolved technical issues appropriately
• Provide system training to new users
• Document all technical issues and resolutions using a ticketing system
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in a relevant field
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in desktop/IT support
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, and basic networking
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
