You are looking for a Woven Label Designer with experience in the garments industry to create stylish and commercially successful collections for both local and international markets. The perfect candidate should possess a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of current fashion trends and clothing manufacturing techniques. Your main responsibilities will include generating innovative design ideas based on market trends and client specifications, designing seasonal collections for different demographics, curating mood boards, selecting color palettes and fabrics, and creating technical packages. You will collaborate with merchandisers, pattern makers, and production teams, oversee sample production, and conduct research on global fashion trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to stay ahead in the industry. Additionally, you will need to ensure that your designs are feasible in terms of cost, production, and quality. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Proficiency in design software like Mucad and Photoshop is essential, along with a strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes.
