Designer - Pre-Engineered Buildings

Position Overview:

PEB

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Detailed Drawings:

  Create precise shop drawings for

  Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) based

  on architectural and structural designs provided by the client.

• Software Utilization:

  Use industry-standard software (such as AutoCAD or similar) to generate accurate 2D and 3D drawings for

  PEB structures

  .

• Adherence to Standards:

  Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes, regulations, and company standards.

• Revisions and Updates:

  Review and revise drawings based on feedback or project changes, maintaining accuracy and clarity.

• Problem-Solving:

  Identify potential issues in design drawings and provide practical solutions to enhance construction efficiency.

• Team Communication:

  Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address queries and provide project updates.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to improve detailing processes and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD:

  Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD software are mandatory, drawings for

  Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)

• Technical Qualification:

  ITI/ Diploma/Degree

• PEB Experience:

  Prior experience in

  detailing Pre-Engineered Buildings

  is a strong advantage.

• Technical Expertise:

  Solid understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, principles, and relevant building codes.

• Attention to Detail:

  Exceptional accuracy and focus on delivering high-quality work.

• Communication Skills:

  Strong teamwork and communication abilities to facilitate seamless collaboration.

• Time Management:

  Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

• Educational Background:

  A degree or diploma in

  Architecture

  ,

  PEB Engineering

  , or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Software Knowledge:

  Familiarity with other detailing tools or software i.e.

  AutoCAD, Tekla

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.
• Coordinate with fabricators and erection teams for smooth project execution.
• Interpret design drawings to proactively address potential issues and enhance construction processes.

• Knowledge of additional design software such as

  Tekla

  Structures or Revit is a Must. Knowledge of all type sheet fixing arrangement (Roof Sheet, Wall cladding, Puff, Panel etc.) arrangement, BOQ, accessories
