Role Summary

Softs, Floor, Bath, and Laundry

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Develop seasonal collections for Softs, Floor, Bath, and Laundry categories in alignment with brand direction.
  
• Create detailed design briefs, mood boards, trend boards, colour palettes and material inspiration.
  
• Design prints, patterns, textures, and product silhouettes across bed linen, cushions, curtains, rugs, mats, bath textiles, and laundry accessories.
  
• Ensure all designs align with cost, quality, and functional requirements.
  

Category Management

• Research global trends, consumer preferences, and competitive market insights to build innovative product ranges.
  
• Work closely with Merchandising and Buying teams to plan assortments and product launches.
  
• Participate in range finalisation and contribute to pricing and product mix decisions.
  

Technical & Product Specifications

• Prepare detailed tech packs including measurements, materials, trims, constructions, and finishing details.
  
• Review samples at various stagesproto, pre-production, and final—to ensure design accuracy and quality.
  
• Collaborate with QA and production teams to ensure product feasibility and consistency.
  

Vendor & Factory Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, mills, and factories for sample development and production inputs.
  
• Evaluate material feasibility, printing techniques, weaving patterns, and finishing processes.
  
• Support factories with technical clarification and aesthetic guidelines.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sourcing, QA, merchandising, and store teams to execute the seasonal design strategy.
  
• Support photoshoots, visual merchandising, and marketing teams with product information and creative inputs.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Home Furnishings, or related field.
  
• 5–7 years of proven experience in

  Soft Furnishings

  (bed, bath, floor or home textiles).
• Strong knowledge of textiles—fabrics, weaving, printing, embroidery, trims and surface techniques.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
  
• Strong sense of colour, pattern, and home dcor aesthetics.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and vendor-handling skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
