About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our team in the elastic manufacturing unit. The role involves developing innovative designs for elastic products used in garments, accessories, and industrial applications, while ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new designs for woven and knitted elastic products based on market trends and client requirements.
• Create CAD drawings, design samples, and technical specifications for production.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure feasibility of designs.
• Research market trends, materials, and competitor products to suggest innovative ideas.
• Work closely with merchandising and sales teams to develop customer-centric designs.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, safety regulations, and cost parameters.
• Maintain design records, sample approvals, and customer feedback documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in elastic, textile, or garment accessory design.
• Strong knowledge of yarns, weaving/knitting techniques, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in design software (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD tools).
• Creativity with strong attention to detail and colour sense.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in elastic, narrow fabrics, or garment accessory industry.
• Knowledge of production processes, looms, and elastic weaving technology.
• Ability to balance design creativity with production feasibility and cost efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
