Position Overview

Home Furnishings Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Research global trends and develop seasonal themes, color palettes, and concepts.
• Design collections for cushions, curtains, table linen, and kitchen linen.
• Create CADs, print artworks, embroidery layouts, and technical sheets.
• Work with sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
• Support merchandisers with product presentations and catalogues for buyers.
• Approve lab dips, strike-offs, and samples to maintain design quality.
• Assist in styling and direction for catalogue shoots and buyer presentations.

Requirements

• Minimum

  3 years of work experience

  as a designer in textiles/home furnishings.
• Strong knowledge of

  fabrics, surface techniques (prints, embroidery, weaves), and product development

  .
• Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar).
• Good sense of aesthetics, trends, and market understanding.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced export environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
