Job Description: Position Overview: The Design Lead will be responsible for leading design efforts across a range of brand initiatives, working directly with the Global Brand Lead and collaboratively with in-house creative teams and outside agencies. This role is part of the Digital Experience Group which exists to deliver visually engaging and strategically impactful materials to our clients and partners. As the Design Lead, you will ensure that our brand s identity remains consistent and visually compelling across all touchpoints and campaigns, while also pushing the boundaries of design innovation. This role will require a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical expertise; particularly in making the complex feel engaging and the abstract seem clear through sleek infographics, powerful images and beautiful client-facing materials, besides team management skills. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Marketing Production Specialists, Marketing Designers, UX Designers and Motion Graphics Designer, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of brand design projects for both print and digital platforms. Provide design leadership and mentorship to other creative team members, offering feedback and guidance on creative projects Individual Contribution: Lead the creative direction and execution of brand design projects for both print and digital platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, digital, data, and client-facing teams to deliver engaging visual assets that bring concepts to life through beautiful charts, graphs, and infographics. Own and maintain the brand s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Design high-quality, visually compelling presentations, reports, and other client-facing materials that communicate complex financial data clearly and effectively. Drive innovation in design and stay on top of industry trends, particularly in financial services, data visualization, and digital communication. Manage and prioritize multiple design projects while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality. Collaborate with developers and digital teams to ensure that designs are functional and user-friendly in digital environments. Present and communicate design concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating business goals into creative solutions. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in design, with a focus on brand and digital projects. Bachelor s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. Proven experience leading creative teams; you are passionate about the role of design in business and contagiously inspiring. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, with an emphasis on data-driven design, infographics, and client-facing materials. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and familiarity with prototyping tools (Figma). Excellent understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles. Ability to balance creativity with business needs, delivering designs that are both visually stunning and strategically aligned. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bonus Qualifications: Experience working in the financial services or investment industry. Familiarity with HTML/CSS or web design principles. Experience with data visualization best practices and tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Experience with motion graphics and video editing software. Bachelor s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
