Design Lead - Material Handling

Role Overview: You will be responsible for independently leading a team of Engineers and Draftsmen for the design of Bulk material handling systems and utility design. Your core responsibilities will include overseeing the design and detailing of Bulk material handling projects, process flow, layout, material specification sheet preparation, preparation of the Bill of Quantity, review of sub-vendor drawings, design coordination, participation in design review meetings, site visits for design inputs collection/troubleshooting, and providing continuous feedback to the Project Head. Key Responsibilities: - Leading a team of Engineers and Draftsmen for Bulk material handling system and utility design - Overseeing the core design and detailing of Bulk material handling projects - Developing process flow, layout, and detailing for Bulk material handling projects - Preparing material specification sheets for further processing and selection of Bought Out Equipment - Creating the Bill of Quantity for Bulk material handling projects - Reviewing sub-vendor drawings and providing necessary comments - Coordinating design activities and finalizing drawings in line with specification and client requirements - Participating in design review meetings for design improvisation - Conducting site visits for collecting design inputs and troubleshooting design issues - Providing continuous feedback to the Project Head Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Approximately 15 years of experience in the preparation and design of Bulk material handling systems as per different standards,
