Job Summary:

Design & Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed
designs, drawings, and estimations
for Fire Alarm and Detection systems, and other ELV systems.
Develop layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using
Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
tools.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and client requirements to ensure accurate system design.
Ensure compliance with
NFPA
and other relevant design standards.
Prepare technical submittals, material lists, and cost estimations for project proposals.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams to ensure design accuracy and project efficiency.
Conduct site visits as needed for design validation and system evaluation.
Provide technical support and guidance during project implementation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Qualification:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience:
5–8 years in Fire Alarm, Detection & ELV System Design and Estimation.
Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in
CAD software
(AutoCAD or similar).
Knowledge of
NFPA
and associated international standards.
Experience in
SIMPLEX (TYCO / JCI)
systems is an
added advantage
.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and estimations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
