Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Design Engineers across multiple engineering disciplines to support detailed engineering, design, and execution of offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination experience, and preferably prior exposure to FPSO/FLNG projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and validate engineering deliverables (drawings, 3D models, specifications).
• Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with international codes and client requirements.
• Support feasibility studies, basic/detailed engineering, and design optimization.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, HSE, etc.) for integrated designs.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, risk assessments, and constructability checks.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and project management teams for technical clarifications.
• Ensure deliverables meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Discipline-Specific Scope

• Structural:

  Offshore module structures, foundations, equipment supports, lifting analysis.

• Electrical:

  Power distribution, load calculations, SLDs, earthing, lighting, and cable routing.

• Instrumentation & Control:

  Control system design, instrument layouts, loop diagrams, hook-ups.

• Telecom:

  Offshore communication systems design, cabling, fiber optics, network layouts.

• Process:

  PFDs, P&IDs, mass balance, process safety, and system optimization.

• HSE:

  Fire & gas detection, safety layouts, escape route planning, risk analysis.

• Piping (Layout/Stress/Materials):

  Piping layouts, isometrics, stress analysis, materials selection, and material handling studies.

• Mechanical:

  Static/rotating equipment design, package integration, vendor data review.

• Engineering Project Management:

  Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and ensure technical coordination across disciplines.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline.
• 15-24 years experience in design engineering for oil & gas/petrochemical projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, Caesar II, ETAP, SmartPlant, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE, ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Offshore project (FPSO/FLNG) experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
