Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and product development.
Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using tools like CATIA, AutoCAD
Good knowledge about materials used for Automotive components
Creating and managing drawings, BOMs, assembly manuals, and design reports.
Knowledge of DFMEA, Knowledge of GD&T
Working closely with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to refine and validate designs.
Experience resolving design challenges, failures, and implementing corrective actions.
Knowledge about Kaizen, VA/VE and product cost optimization for new and existing products.
Knowledge of IMDS
Knowledge of IATF 16949 system requirement and its compliance.
