Job Title: Design Engineer (Permanent Role)

Qualifications & Experience

BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5–8 years of experience
in
Design and Development
within a
sheet metal industry
Hands-on experience working in the
Design/Engineering department
of a Sheet Metal Engineering organization

Technical Skills

Proficient in SolidWorks
, including 3D modeling and detailing
Strong skills in
AutoCAD
Expertise in
Jigs & Fixtures design
Experience in
Press Tool design and maintenance
Well-versed in
Detailed Engineering
and generating accurate engineering drawings
Proficient in
BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation

Manufacturing Process Knowledge

Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing operations such as:
Stamping
Roll Forming
Press Brake
Turret Punching
Tube Bending
Laser Cutting
Welding
Powder Coating

Additional Requirements

Good knowledge of
ISO and EMS documentation
, systems, and record-keeping
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and support manufacturing activities
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
