Design Engineer -R &D

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Design Engineer to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting current and new product design and development projects for both Indian and global locations. This role requires strong expertise in mechanical and structural design, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent communication and analytical skills to ensure optimal QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) outcomes on all engineering activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support current and new product design and development projects

  as required, catering to both India and Global locations.
• Be responsible for achieving the

  best QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) outcome

  on engineering activities, in addition to accurately estimating project engineering hours.
• Possess strong knowledge in

  steel structure & mechanical component design

  .
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of

  C language

  .
• Be capable of preparing

  2D & 3D CAD drawings

  using

  AutoCAD Inventor / CREO (preferable)

  .
• Be able to

  work with and guide a team of Engineers

  within the company and partner associates (preferred).
• Must work in close coordination with

  Program / Project Management

  to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts and possess

  strong analytical skills

  , coupled with

  good communication skills

  .
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in

  Global delivery projects

  .
• Having a passport would be preferable, and the candidate should be

  willing to travel overseas

  as and when required.

Qualification:

• Graduate in Engineering

  , preferably

  Mechanical/ Production/ Structural Engineering

  or equivalent from a reputed college.
• A

  Post Graduate qualification

  would be an added advantage.
