Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate design concepts and client requirements into detailed, manufacturable engineering solutions.
• Develop comprehensive drawing packs and BOMs for prototype and production phases.
• Design for manufacturability using materials such as plastic, metal, and wood—considering cost, safety, assembly, and usability.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to meet design intent, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Support prototype build-outs and inspections with DPM/PPM teams; ensure quality and functional requirements are met.
• Visit factories as needed to review construction methods, verify specifications, and conduct quality checks.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with company standards and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum

  3+ years of experience

   in the POP display design industry.
• Proven experience with manufacturing processes, including

• Plastics

  : Sheet fabrication, vacuum forming, injection molding, extrusions

• Metals

  : Sheet metal, wire forming, tube bending, and finishing

• Wood

  : Fabrication, hardware integration, and finishing
• Proficient in 

  SolidWorks

  , including drawing packs and BOM creation.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks EPDM is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with 3D rendering tools such as StudioMax or Cinema4D.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills: able to work effectively in a team environment and interact with diverse stakeholders.
