Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Position: Mechanical Draftsman

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, designs, and layouts based on engineering specifications for manufacturing and quality purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and machinery.

Develop detailed fabrication drawings and part lists.

Work closely with engineers to understand project requirements and design specifications.

Modify and update existing drawings as per feedback and design changes.

Maintain drawing records and ensure all drafting work meets company standards.

Support production and quality teams with technical drawings and documentation.

Requirements:

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Drafting / Mechanical Engineering.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards and GD\&T.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:1–3 years (Freshers with strong drafting skills may also apply).
