Design engineer jigs and fixture

Design of Jigs and fixtures for VMC, HMC, Turning, Grinding processes

Analyze engineering drawings, part models, and customer specifications to determine the most appropriate fixture design and manufacturing methods.

Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, to develop 3D models and detailed drawings of fixtures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, and SCM to understand requirements and design specifications for machining fixtures.

Conduct feasibility studies and engineering analyses to assess the structural integrity, stability, and performance of fixture designs under various operating conditions.

Select appropriate materials, components, and hardware for fixture construction, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Work closely with SCM team and suppliers to procure components and materials for fixture manufacturing, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

Generate detailed documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions, to support fixture manufacturing and assembly.

Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing personnel during fixture installation, setup, and troubleshooting activities.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fixture design and manufacturing processes, and incorporate new methodologies as appropriate.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Experience:

• machining process: 2 years (Preferred)
• Fixture installation: 1 year (Preferred)
