Design Engineer - Geotechnical

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing and providing design, technical support, and participating in research and development activities related to Geotechnical Projects. Your role will also involve interacting with clients, consultants, and the sales team. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Designing reinforced soil wall, gravity retaining wall, and basal reinforcement - Advocating the use of geosynthetics products to clients and consultants - Providing technical and design support to the sales team - Meeting with clients and consultants for design clarification - Interacting with in-house and external testing laboratories - Familiarity with various design software and codes such as IS, MORTH, AASHTO, ASTM - Participating in exhibitions and seminars - Preparing case studies of completed work Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering - Relevant experience in Geotechnical Projects - Knowledge of relevant software tools - Fair knowledge of geosynthetics products and their applications (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
