Design Engineer

Job Description

• Designing new engineering products and processes.
• Crafting models and drawings of products using Solid works.
• Analyse prototype data and retest if needed.
• Research new product ideas and methods.
• Improve existing products and processes.
• Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly.
• Finding creative design solutions to problems.
• Presenting prototypes and designs to customers and project managers.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
• Generation and Control of Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Drawings and nesting.
• Maintaining accurate records & writing detailed reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
• A sound knowledge of Solid work, technical drawings & 2D,3D modelling.
• An excellent grasp of engineering and design ideas.
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods of commercial

kitchen equipment.

• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software not essential however will be an

added advantage.

• Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.
• Strong PC skills, including MS office.
• 3-6 years’ experience as a Design Engineer in Commercial kitchen equipment’s or

refrigeration industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
