Design Engineer (Electrical)

As an Electronics Engineer, your role will involve designing and developing analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits and PCBs. You will be responsible for circuit simulations, schematic capture, and PCB layout using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD. Collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and test engineers will be essential to ensure system-level integration. Additionally, you will conduct design validation, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency with circuit design software such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, etc. - Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, power electronics, and embedded systems. - Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers. - Knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and compliance testing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Prepare technical documentation such as BOMs, schematics, test plans, and user manuals. - Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC, CE, FCC). - Support the transition of designs to manufacturing, including DFM and DFT considerations. - Continuously evaluate and improve existing products for performance and cost optimization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics design.
