We are hiring for one of our client a Engineering & Construction Industry based in Delhi .

Job Title : Design Engineer

Experience : 2-5years

Location : Delhi

Salary Bracket : 5-7LPA

Responsible for the engineering design, analysis, and documentation of trenchless projects such as Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Microtunneling, ensuring technical accuracy, standards compliance, and project efficiency from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trenchless Design & Engineering

Develop detailed designs for HDD and Microtunneling projects.

Prepare and interpret crossing profiles, alignment drawings, and as-built documentation.

Modify designs based on field conditions and client requirements.

2. Engineering Calculations & Analysis

Perform HDD pulling load calculations, stress checks, and feasibility assessments.

Conduct structural design calculations for structural components and RCC elements.

Review geotechnical data for design considerations.

3. Standards & Compliance

Apply ASME B31.4 / B31.8, API, and other pipeline standards in design.

Utilize ISO & ASTM guidelines relevant to HDD and Microtunneling projects.

Ensure all designs follow industry codes, safety norms, and QC requirements.

4. Software & Tools

Create 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD.

Build 3D models using SolidWorks.

Use Excel for calculations, and Word/PowerPoint for technical documentation & presentations.

5. Technical Documentation

Prepare method statements, job procedures, and technical reports.

Develop Bills of Materials (BoMs) for RCC structures, pipelines, and equipment.

Organize and control project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

6. Project Coordination

Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and vendors to support execution.

Provide technical support during construction and design deviations.

Participate in client meetings & deliver engineering presentations.
