10 years of design experience in AutoCAD
Preferred more on heavy machineries viz., vibrating screening machineries experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in Inventor tool
AutoCAD must be able to visualise designs in 3 dimensions from 2D views only
Autodesk Vault PDM tool experience preferred
Main Responsibilities:
Creation of assemblies in 2D AutoCAD from individual part fabrication drawings to verify designs are error free, ie: no part clashes, no misaligned or missing holes, etc
Creates fully detailed projected views in 2D to build the 2D assemblies, from the 2D views available in part fabrication drawings
Thorough and methodical, ensures comprehensive and consistent approach to checking every interface of every part to its mating parts
Identifies inconsistencies in the CAD geometry and BOM data
Creation of structured reports detailing design check findings
Produces dependable work that can be relied upon by the business to be error free
Good oral and written English and communication skills with foreign clients
Ensuring delivery within budget / timelines / quality
Proactive, takes initiative without waiting for instructions, communicates readily when assistance or clarification is needed, reports progress daily
