Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer with 25 years of experience in Process Equipment and Pressure Vessel Design, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Perform pressure vessel design calculations in accordance with relevant codes - Confirm thicknesses and provide detailed designs for enquiries - Review and verify drawings against datasheets, sales orders, and client documents - Prepare and update design calculations/drawings based on client feedback - Coordinate with sales/project teams for deviations, inputs, and approvals - Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) is entered in SAP for material ordering and maintain drawing submission records - Communicate with clients to address technical queries and manage documentation effectively To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements: - Hands-on experience with PV Elite and AutoCAD - Proficiency in pressure vessel codes and standards - Previous experience in process equipment design If you are interested in this position, please send your CV to nivedita.malokar@chemdist.in.
