JOB DESCRIPTION

Title/Position:Design Engineer Hardware (Mechatronic)

Location:Bangalore

Education: Bachelor s degree

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Business Unit headin defining strategy for the BU

Responsible & accountable forengineering execution and deliveries for customer projects across globe

Work proactively with differentstake holders in the organization for successful execution and projectreporting

Work proactively with HR team forhiring talented and capable engineers to fulfil the business needs

Mentor the teams growth &create a conducive environment in the BU for their success

Support sales team in customerfacing activities, proposal preparation to win business

AboutThe Role .

Bachelors degree, Mechanical/Electronics Engineering.

3+ years of experience in MechanicalCAD engineering with Solid works and any other tool and should be able to make2D drawings on SolidWorks.

Contribute to innovation and conceptprojects time schedule estimations.

Plan and coordinate your delegatedproject tasks and deliver on agreed and team committed dates.

Involve with prototype partsuppliers and align quality expectations and delivery.

Exploration of new ideas for theenclosure design

Should have knowledge how to integrateelectronic parts like USB connector, Ethernet connectors, integrating matingconnectors etc.

Should be able to make assembly ofproto builds and need to validate.

Experience in the CNC design andengineering of injection-moulded plastic components.

Experience in design and engineeringof stamped sheet metal components.

Experience in mechanics design ofindustrial designed products, with requirements to surface finish and visualappearance.

What Is Nice To Have

1 - 3 Years experience in automotive product design

Knowledge ofmodule architecture process

Can evaluateideas, according to requirements and criteria, selecting the best solution
