As a Design Coordinator at Linesight, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams that foster a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. This role will provide you with valuable industry experience that will not only enhance your skillset but also broaden your perspective. At Linesight, we are dedicated to empowering, supporting, and enabling you to take on real responsibility in your position, allowing you to drive your own career progression within the company. We place immense value on establishing lasting trusted relationships, both with our teams and our clients. In this role, your responsibilities will include liaising with the head office design team to understand the design intent and ensuring its successful implementation on-site. You will collaborate with design consultants to address design queries and ensure the timely delivery of drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will facilitate design-related meetings and workshops with stakeholders, act as the primary design point of contact on-site, monitor design implementation during construction, and identify and address any deviations or issues that may arise. It will also be part of your role to maintain a comprehensive log of design submissions, approvals, and revisions, and ensure effective communication of design changes to all relevant parties. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing regular design coordination reports for the project lead and head office, as well as assisting in quality inspections related to design execution. We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in design coordination, preferably in industrial or warehousing projects. Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and design processes is essential for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are highly valued, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools is considered a plus. The ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple interfaces effectively is crucial, as well as a passion for cultivating strong relationships with team members and clients through a shared purpose and a sense of openness and fun.
