Design Architect

As a Residential Design Architect at our dynamic team based in Gurugram, your role will involve focusing exclusively on residential building design, specifications, and project management support for plot owners. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of residential layouts, elevations, and faade concepts. - Evaluate and select construction partners such as Architectural Firms, Builders, Collaborators, Contractors, and Material Suppliers as per the established processes. - Review, assess, and guide construction partners on sustainable design principles by conducting in-depth studies and reviews of floor plans and technical drawings. - Actively collaborate with clients and construction agencies to finalize project requirements and specifications. - Provide expert guidance on material choices, finishes, and construction methodology. - Draft detailed scope of work documents and ensure designs comply with local regulations. - Monitor project progress through on-site visits and virtual tools to ensure design quality and timely delivery. - Support end-to-end project management for assigned clients. - Build and continuously update the knowledge repository with the latest trends in design and construction. Required Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors degree in Architecture from a top pedigree institution. - Attention to detail and a genuine passion for residential architecture. - Proficiency with BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other architectural design tools. - Deep understanding of building codes, bye-laws, standards, and residential construction best practices. - Confident in interacting with leading Architectural firms, very senior Architects, or the senior leadership of reputed builders. - Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in residential design and construction. - Strong communication and project coordination skills. - Client-focused with a problem-solving mindset. Preferred: - Familiarity with digital project management platforms. - Knowledge in Green Building Design.
