Deputy Manager/Manager Level 1 (Production)

As a Deputy Manager/Manager Level1 (Production) at Polypeptide Group, you will be responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and coordinating with various teams to meet production targets. Your expertise in the Peptide Industry, particularly in solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, and lyophilization, will be essential for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily production activities and planning to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets. - Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. - Prepare MBPRs, SOPs, and risk assessment documents. - Investigate deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Perform equipment qualification and process validation activities. - Handle and manage the ERP system for efficient production operations. - Collaborate with QA, QC, and M&E departments to ensure smooth departmental operations. - Conduct tech transfer activities and gap assessments. - Prepare relevant documentation and facilities for customers and regulatory audits, represent the company during these audits, and ensure all aspects of such audits remain in compliance. Qualifications: - Educational Background: Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or a masters degree in chemistry. - Experience: 10+ years in the production department within the Peptide Industry. - Technical Expertise: Proficient in solid phase peptide synthesis, purification, and lyophilization processes. - Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear insights. - Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office. - Decision-Making: Strong decision-making abilities. - Self-Management: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
