Location : Mumbai PURPOSE The primary accountabilities of the Assistant Manager–Business Dev are to Identify business opportunities and implement the required targets/measures to successfully market products of Company’s (mainly Overseas) Principals in India, including managing local ex stock sales . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for expanding designated existing business of specialty products & implementing the required targets/measures as per management vision. Develop designated new products and customers pan India. Identify changes in business dynamics, market place opportunities, competitive threats, supply position etc. Responsible for handling local warehouse sales. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Plastics / Polymer Technology with a minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales (alternatively Bachelor in Science + Diploma from CIPET). Familiarity with Specialty Polymers and Plastics Additives is highly advantageous. Preferably with at least 3 years in technical selling. Highly motivated with a sales-oriented personality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate with Foreign Principals is highly desirable. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
