Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager in Medical Billing with 8 -12 years of expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management, Eligibility Verification, Denial Management, and Prior Authorization. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure efficient billing operations, maximize revenue, and maintain compliance with US healthcare regulations. Company Name: Sun Knowledge Pvt. Ltd. Website: https://sunknowledge.com Location: Kolkata, India Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee AR processes to ensure timely collection and resolution of outstanding accounts. Eligibility Verification: Supervise the verification of patient insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing. Denial Management: Lead efforts to analyze, appeal, and resolve denied claims to optimize reimbursement. Prior Authorization: Manage the prior authorization process to ensure necessary approvals are obtained for services rendered. Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise billing staff to achieve departmental goals. Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with HIPAA and other relevant US healthcare regulations. Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on billing activities, AR status, and denial trends to inform strategic decisions. Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. 8 -12 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on AR management, eligibility verification, denial management, and prior authorization. Strong understanding of US healthcare billing regulations and compliance requirements. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
