Deputy Manager Solid Dielectrics

As a Deputy Manager in Solid Dielectrics, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the solid insulating materials section. Your role will involve ensuring the section achieves revenue targets, preparing and managing budgets, and leading procurement activities. Motivating the team to engage in R&D activities and implementing quality systems in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be crucial aspects of your position. With a minimum of 14 to a maximum of 18 years of experience in a testing laboratory or quality control department focusing on solid electrical insulating materials, you will need a strong educational background. An M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Physics is essential, while a Ph.D. in related fields is desirable. First Class and above qualifications are preferred. Your technical skills should include a deep understanding of organic and inorganic chemistry, along with experience in oil testing and solid insulating materials testing in accredited labs. Familiarity with NABL accredited labs and ISO 17025 quality system requirements will be beneficial. In addition to technical expertise, you should exhibit proactive behavior, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective team and management engagement, while leadership capabilities will enable you to manage and inspire your team effectively. Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office are required, along with familiarity with ERP systems to support your role effectively.
